"I've come to realise that Afrikaans music, especially within the rock genre, has the power to connect deeply with listeners, much like any other genre,” she explains.

She reveals a deep appreciation for 1950s and 6s music, as well as genres like jazz and blues. "I have always enjoyed 1950's and 60's music," she shared, "my voice also suits the genres that were popular at that time, such as jazz and blues. So most of my set list reflects that."
